Heather joined Bank of America 20 years ago and continued her career path in Retail Banking. Throughout her career, she moved into sales, operation, and leadership roles at multiple locations in Northern California and Las Vegas. Currently, her position with Bank of America is a Consumer Banking Market Leader in the East Bay.
In this role as a Consumer Banking Market Leader, she manages a team comprised of Financial Center Managers and Relationship Managers. As a Market Leader, she drives local strategies and tactics surrounding the client experience, deepening client relationships, and operational excellence at the market and financial center levels. Heather focuses on developing and executing client-driven market strategies to drive operational excellence and client-deepening strategies, while adhering to regulatory, securities and supervision laws, policies and procedures. She has been in the East Bay market for the last 5 years where she built partnerships across the organization, integrate and drive strategic management and developing employees to deliver a client relationship oriented culture.
Locally, Heather is a member of a several internal Employee Networks at Bank of America such as Asian Leadership Network, LEAD SF for Women, Hispanic/Latino Organization Leadership & advancement (HOLA) and Black Professional Group (BPG). In the past years, she was a participant in the CA Women’s Leadership Network in California to strengthen relationships between corporate workplace in multiple lines of business within Bank of America, community influences and women empowerment in the workforce. She also participated in leadership roles that influences mentorship and advocacy for sponsorship for diversity and inclusion inside and outside the workplace for women and those in early stages of their career development. Surrounding herself with people who have various backgrounds and ability to influence others to pave the way for potential growth through learning skills, mentorship and empowerment are some of her core principal that drives her passion to giving back to her community.
In addition to her day job, for the past two years, Heather also serves as a Advisory Board Member for Junior Achievement Northern CA to provide advocacy for financial literacy and non-profit community activities. Heather has been an active member and volunteer teammate for Junior Achievement for the past decade. Serving as a liaison for this organization to bring awareness to others on their projects such as work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, Heather was a former student of their programs. Beyond her involvement with Junior Achievement, she volunteers with local high school as a mentor for seniors students on their projects.
Heather attended college at California State East Bay in Hayward, CA. She, along with her husband and two kids currently reside in Central Valley and enjoys traveling and giving back to their local community through charity work.
