Where: Junior Achievement of Northern California
JA is proud to announce a new partnership with SolarBuddy, an organization uniting a global community committed to creating a more sustainable future for all people… and they are doing it with the gift of light. Participants in this program will learn about energy poverty and solar technology with a hands-on light building and STEM activity.
Corporate Partners: Are you looking for a way to have a fun, corporate, team-building event for an amazing cause?
If you have a work event coming up where you want to engage your colleagues in a fun, team-building event with local and global impact, please reach out to us to find out more. We can set you up with solar light assembly kits so that your participants can have a tangible impact on a family experiencing energy poverty, all while supporting work readiness programs here locally.

The JA SolarBuddy event is a great way for students to:
• Learn about energy poverty and its global impact
• Be introduced to solar energy and technology
• Have a hands-on learning experience putting together a solar device
Proceeds from this program support the cost of the devices and shipping, as well as the educational curriculum that brings the experience to life.
