JA of Northern California Events

At JA of Northern California, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

Happening Now!

Where: Junior Achievement of Northern California

JA SolarBuddy is our new hands-on solar light building program that has incredible impact locally and globally. Participants will learn about STEM, the impacts of energy poverty and how to make a difference in a student’s life through the gift of light.

JA Inspire is more than a career fair, it brings together the business community and local schools and is designed to help launch middle and high school students into their futures: high school, college, and careers beyond. The multi-hour experience is configurable to align with local industry and career opportunities.

Join us for a night of fun-filled, competition-fueled Bocce Ball!

Join us for a celebratory luncheon as we honor JA NorCal's Business Partners, Students, Volunteers of the Year, and Educators of the Year for their impact on JA's mission to empower students toward greater economic success.

In partnership with John Muir Health, Junior Achievement of Northern California is pleased to offer our Virtual Career Speaker Series exploring careers in the health sector.


Where: Bay Area

SHE Leads STEM Summit, Mentoring Sessions, Tech & Innovation Summit, and STEM Virtual Career Exploration all rolled into one week of exciting, eye-opening opportunities for middle and high schoolers to explore the vast amount of jobs in STEM fields.

FinTech Week

Where: Block Inc office in Oakland on February 8th and Franklin Templeton in San Mateo on February 9th

JA will host a series of workshops on all things relating to software, mobile applications, and other technologies created to improve and automate traditional forms of finance for businesses and consumers alike.

November is National Entrepreneurship Month. To kick-off our JA Company Program, we are hosting an Entrepreneurship Summit with leading entrepreneurs and business leaders in the SF Bay Area.

JA Career Summit

When: Wednesday, October 12, 2022 - Friday, October 14, 2022
Where: Pinole Valley High School

Powered by our new, virtual career exploration program, JA Inspire, we will host an exciting three-day summit focused on work readiness and STEM careers. Through virtual and in-person workshops and mentoring, students will hear directly from mentors in a variety of career clusters and get the opportunity for some hands-on learning.

JA Stock Market Challenge Virtual

During this stock market simulation event, students have the opportunity to test their market savviness, further develop their financial literacy knowledge & put to work the skills learned in school. This event provides high-schoolers with the opportunity to experience Investing, Savings, & Budgeting firsthand.
