Young Healers CLIMB Mentorship Program

You will have the opportunity to be mentored by 4th year medical residents at John Muir Hospital

- Meetings are every other Friday 8:00am-9:00am on Zoom.
- Meeting Dates: Friday September 5, 2025, Friday September 19, 2025, Friday October 3, 2025, Friday October 17, 2025, Friday November 7, 2025, Friday November 21, 2025, and Friday December 5, 2025

Details as a mentor
You will have the opportunity to be a mentor to a 11th-12th grade high school student(s), who have been a Young Healers and are interested in the health field.

- Commit to meeting with your mentee’s 2x per month Sept/Dec for 1 hour, virtually on zoom.
- Dates/Times TBD we will work with you to find the right time, usually in the late afternoon midweek.

Qualifications

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college/university.
- Majoring in a medical related field
- Plans to pursue a career in the medical field (family medicine)
- Attend virtual orientation (Date TBD, mid August, 45-60 minutes)
- Attend mentorship meetings with high school students.
- Attend mentorship meetings with medical students
- Complete a bi-weekly reflection on what you gained from each meeting
