CLIMB Mentorship Program (Undergraduate Students) Cultivating Leaders and Inspiring Mentorship Bonds
The CLIMB Mentorship Program is an innovative, interprofessional, multi-level mentorship experience designed to support learners interested in pursuing a career in medicine. The program spans high school students, undergraduate students, medical students, and residents, creating a structured near-peer mentorship pipeline focused on guidance, exposure, and leadership development. This application is for undergraduate students who are interested in the medical field and would benefit from mentorship with medical students while also gaining experience mentoring high school students. Through CLIMB, undergraduates will:
- Receive guidance from medical students on pre-med pathways, applications, and career exploration
- Serve as near-peer mentors to high school students interested in healthcare careers
- Build leadership, communication, and mentorship skills in a structured setting
Qualifications
Requirements:- Attend virtual mentorship meetings with medical students (every other Friday, 10:00am-11:00am)
- Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college
- Pursuing a career in the medical field.
