In partnership with Junior Achievement of Northern California, John Muir Health is pleased to offer a Fall 2026 learning opportunity for High School Students to explore Healthcare Careers.
Young Healers Internship will take place from October 1 to November 12, 2026, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm, over the course of 7 weeks. Internships will be held at one of the John Muir Campuses. A scholarship will be provided to interns. Financial assistance can be provided if needed.

Qualifications
- Current High School Juniors or Seniors- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Interested in the Health Care Industry
- Attend a school in Contra Costa County or Pleasanton Unified School District
- Accepted interns must provide proof of the following: Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B, Chicken Pox (Varicella), Covid 19, Flu & negative QuantiFERON TB test. For more information about this opportunity, please contact Apply Today
