Young Healers Internship Program
In partnership with John Muir Health, Junior Achievement of Northern California is proud to continue the Young Healers Internship Program. After careful consideration, we have made updates to the application process and internship structure. To provide interns with the best possible hands-on experience, the summer internship will now take place in the fall, allowing us to ensure sufficient mentorship.
Young Healers Internship will take place from March 3rd to April 23, 2026, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm, over the course of 7
weeks. Internships will be held at one of the John Muir Campuses. A scholarship will be provided to interns. Financial assistance can be provided if needed.

Application Closes: December 15, 2025
Interviews: January 2026
Notifications: January 19, 2026
Qualifications
- Current High School Juniors or Seniors- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Interested in the Health Care Industry
- Attend a school in Contra Costa County
- Accepted interns must provide proof of the following: Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B Chicken Pox (Varicella), Covid 19, & TB test For more information about this opportunity, please contact Apply Today
