JA Finance Park Virtual

JA Finance Park is Junior Achievement’s capstone program for personal financial planning and career exploration. At the culmination of this teacher-led program, students visit JA Finance Park, a realistic on-site or virtual community, to put into practice what they've learned by developing and committing to a personal budget. (Grades 7-12)

JA Finance Park Virtual includes a virtual culminating experience for students who have completed the educator-led curriculum. Students put into practice what they've learned by developing and committing to a personal budget. The JA Finance Park Virtual simulation has been fully redeveloped, with a brand-new experience that offers two implementation options: entry level for middle school students and advanced for high school students. (Grades 7-12)

JA Finance Park helps students make smart financial decisions that last a lifetime. Schools and teachers can register classrooms, open to grades 7-12. This is a comprehensive, standards-aligned personal finance curriculum presented on JA's learning platform. The experience culminates in a hands-on, online budgeting simulation of life in the real world. 92% of students who participated in JA Finance Park last school year said that making virtual and pretend purchases during the simulation helped them better understand how a budget works.

Participating students will:
- Set their own savings goals.
- Select their career path and education.
- Create a personal avatar to navigate the simulation.
- Choose their own future as it relates to marriage, children... even pets!
- Research, shop, and pay for various categories of household expenses.
- Make financial decisions across multiple life stages.
